About Bee Wirral

Established in 2013. Bee Wirral CIC is a lottery funded community centre, created to help bring a sense of community to Birkenhead. The organisation was called Birkenhead Early Excellence, which is where the name Bee comes from, as the centre is renowned for our baby groups and infant massage led by Lisa Heath.
As the centre has grown through kind donations and having more friendly faces through the door, we have established ourselves as a place for people to book rooms for meetings, family contact sessions, courses, and social groups such as sewing and a men's club. We have a Beauty Bank, and are part of the directory of free toiletries run by Toiletries Amnesty. If you need free toiletries, all you have to do is ask, and we'll see how we can help you.
We now operate out of Summerhill House in Beechwood. As well as this we have an allotment in Birkenhead where our men's group Elemental meet. Our baby groups will be running from The Livingstone Street Community Centre.
We recently took on a cafe in Thurstaston called The Whistle Stop Cafe, and we also have a soft play business called Giggletotz.
Overall, we are excited to continue to develop our community centre as a hub for the local community to learn, grow, and enjoy a Place to Bee
